Consortium Series

Equitable Cities facilitated a mini-workshop on community outreach and engagement as part of the Complete Streets Consortium Series, which is a free technical assistance program funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Community Resilience in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The Consortium Series brings together three jurisdictions within the same state for a series of three in-person workshops and supplemental webinars. The program addresses strategies to overcome common barriers Complete Streets implementation, including how to better collaborate with the state Department of Transportation. The peer-learning model also builds working relationships across and within jurisdictions to advance Complete Streets across the state.
