Active Transportation Plan

Equitable Cities is partnering with Toole Design, Karp Strategies, and Mott MacDonald in the creation and development of the North Jersey Regional Active Transportation Plan. The Plan is taking shape through purposeful outreach strategies, including focus groups, stakeholder interviews, and on-the-ground outreach, a series of technical analysis, observation of similar case studies, and an assessment of existing policies and planned facilities. Equitable Cities provides policy and planning expertise by assessing existing active transportation policies, guides, and plan recommendations of places similar to the North Jersey region. We are also leveraging our experience in convening and facilitating planning-related discussions amongst diverse racial groups to bolster the plan with a community-informed framework.
